Restaurant and hotel interior design in Bali

Paz Studio designs restaurants, cafés, bars, beach clubs and boutique hotels in Bali, from the architecture and layout to the last lampshade. Our hospitality work includes Santanera in Canggu, Kano Hotel, La Brisa and Nirvana Club House.

Hospitality interior design

A venue has to be memorable for guests, practical for staff and durable in a humid climate. We design the guest journey, the operation and the atmosphere together, so the space works from lunch service to late night.

Architecture + Interior

When one studio designs the building and the interior, views, ceiling heights, lighting and seating are planned together from the start. At Santanera that meant a double-height glass wall onto the garden with curved banquettes along it, so the best view became the best seat.

How we design a venue

From the first covers count to opening night, every decision is made with both guests and staff in mind.

  1. Brief and concept

Covers, opening hours, service style, budget and the story the venue should tell.

  2. Layout and operations

Guest flow, staff circulation, bar and back-of-house positions, private dining and zones for different moods.

  3. Design development

Materials, lighting, custom furniture and joinery, shown in 3D views.

  4. Documentation

Construction-ready drawings for your contractor, coordinated with your MEP and kitchen consultants.

  5. Procurement

Furniture, lighting and décor produced by trusted suppliers and artisans, with quality checks before delivery.

  6. Installation and opening

Installation and styling, so the venue is ready for its first guests and its first photos.

Frequently asked questions

Do you design restaurants and hotels in Bali?

Yes. Hospitality is a large part of our work, including Santanera restaurant in Canggu, Kano Hotel, La Brisa and Nirvana Club House, alongside cafés such as Cafe Koast and Plant Bistro.

Can you design both the building and the interior?

Yes. Paz Studio offers architectural design and interior design. For hospitality it is often the better route: views, ceiling heights, lighting and seating are planned together from the start.

Which materials work for restaurants in Bali’s climate?

Materials that age well with humidity and constant cleaning, such as brick, stone, solid timber, leather and cane, rather than finishes that look perfect on day one and tired after the first rainy season.

Do you work with kitchen and MEP consultants?

Yes. We plan bar and back-of-house positions with your operations team and coordinate the design with kitchen, MEP and structural consultants, who carry out those specialist scopes.

Can you refresh an existing venue?

Yes. Depending on what the venue needs, we offer full interior design, interior decoration or a lighter styling refresh. See all our services.

Where is Paz Studio based?

Our studio is in Kerobokan, Bali. To start a project, schedule a call and tell us about your venue.
